RightFax Technical Alert: End of Basic Authentication Access by Microsoft

All Versions: OpenText™ RightFax™ 22.2, 21.2, 20.2, 16.6, 16.4, 16.2, 10.6 & Below
Details
On October 1, 2022, Microsoft will disable basic authentication access to Exchange Online for Exchange Web Services (EWS), POP, and IMAP.
Email integrations using Exchange Web Services (EWS), or any other outbound Email to Fax applications through Office365, will be affected by this change.
Solution
Any connections for Email to Fax applications going to RightFax via Office365 must be configured with Modern Authentication (OAuth).
Failure to do so will prevent all outbound faxes from processing through Office365 to RightFax starting Saturday, October 1st, 2022.
