How to Create Forms in RightFax FaxUtil

​Welcome to the RightFax Resource Center. Today I will be showing you how to create forms directly from within RightFax FaxUtil. This is great for organizations that need to overlay forms on outbound faxes with prepopulated information or as a watermark.

Before creating a form, you will need to create the document in a word processor or other application and fax it to yourself. You can also use a previously received fax.

In your fax mailbox, right-click the fax in the list and on the short-cut menu click “Store as form”.

Next, enter:

1. Form ID
   • A unique name to identify the form
2. Description
   • Enter a description of the form
3. In the “Starting Page” box, enter the first page after the coversheet to which to apply the form.
   • For example, if you enter 1, the form will appear on the first body page.
4. To overlay each faxed page with the form, select “Overlay on All Pages”
5. In the “Number of Pages” box, enter the number of pages you’d like the form to appear.
6. To restrict the form to a specific group or user, select the “Secured” check box and select the group of users from the “Authorized Group or User” list.
7. Finally, select “ok”

Your new form will now be immediately available for use on outgoing faxes.
